History of the Dayton Chess Club
Dayton Chess Club hours of operation:
This is our “Scholastic Knights” evening, geared towards K-12 students – learn to play, learn simple tactics. Adults are welcomed to join in – all for the reduced rate of $4.00 for an evening membership. Typically there is a lecture at 7pm – and we encourage anyone to volunteer to lecture!
There’s always a rated USCF game in 25 on Friday nights …. nominal entry fee of $14 for non-members, $10 for members, prizes based on entries. And of course, there’s always players looking for a game or two who don’t play in the tournament!
